Privacy Policy
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Mungapen Consulting, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit mungapenconsulting.com (the “Site”). The Site is an informational website. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no forms and no payments. If you have questions, email jerome@mungapenconsulting.com.
Information we collect
We collect only two kinds of information:
- Information you send us. If you email us, for example to book an intro call, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to reply and to follow up on your request.
- Basic visit data. Like any website, our hosting and network providers process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the pages you request, so that the Site loads and stays secure.
How we use information
- To respond to your messages and requests.
- To operate, secure and troubleshoot the Site.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages are visited so we can improve the Site.
Cookies and analytics
The Site does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not show ads. We measure traffic with Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first service that does not use cookies or local storage and does not track visitors across sites or build individual profiles. It reports aggregate page views, visits, referrers and performance data. You can read how it works in Cloudflare’s documentation.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We rely on service providers who help us run the Site and handle email:
- Cloudflare — network, security and the analytics described above.
- Hosting providers — infrastructure that serves the Site.
- Email providers — delivery of the messages you send and receive.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our company, our clients or the public. The Site links to other websites, such as LinkedIn. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing jerome@mungapenconsulting.com. If you are a California resident, you have the rights described in the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, delete and correct personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information in that sense. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Data retention
We keep email correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you and to keep ordinary business records, then delete it unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Aggregate analytics data is retained by Cloudflare under its own schedule.
Children
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Using the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
